DTP2 Series

DTP2 products build upon the extensive DTP Systems platform to reach new heights in professional AV integration. They support data rates up to 18 Gbps and incorporate advanced features such as 4K/60 @ 4:4:4, HDCP 2.3, and HDR video to let you create the sophisticated, yet simple to use systems that customers demand. All extend video, audio, and control up to 330 feet (100 meters) at every video resolution.

DTP2 Endpoint Features

Transmits video, bidirectional control, and analog audio up to 330 feet (100 meters) over a shielded CATx cable

DTP2 transmitters and receivers provide high reliability and maximum performance on an economical and easily installed cable infrastructure.

Supports computer and video resolutions up to 4K/60 @ 4:4:4

DTP2 endpoints support HDMI 2.0b specification features including data rates up to 18 Gbps and HDR video. Support of 4K/60 at 4:4:4 color sampling requires connection to a matching DTP2 product.

HDCP 2.3 compliant

Ensures display of content-protected 4K video media and interoperability with other HDCP‑compliant devices.

Bidirectional remote power capability

For simplified installation, a DTP2 endpoint can be remotely powered by a DTP2‑enabled product over the twisted pair connection. It can also be configured to provide power to a connected DTP2 endpoint product.

DTP2 Switcher Features

Auto-switching between inputs

Auto-switching allows for simple, unmanaged installation in locations such as in a lectern or under a conference table. When multiple inputs are active, the switching priority is configurable.

Analog stereo audio embedding/de-embedding

Analog audio inputs on all DTP2 products support audio embedding; and audio de-embedding is supported on analog audio outputs of all DTP2 products.

Ethernet monitoring and control

Enables control and proactive monitoring over a LAN, WAN, or the Internet.

Compatible with HDBaseT‑enabled devices

Switching products with DTP2 output can be configured to send video and embedded audio, plus bidirectional RS‑232 and IR signals, to an HDBaseT‑enabled display.

Backward Compatible with DTP

Even as they offer all-new performance and capability, DTP2 products retain compatibility with the whole family of DTP products. Any DTP or DTP2 transmit port can be connected to any DTP or DTP2 receive port to extend video, audio, and control signals. DTP2 transmitters and DTP2 receivers must be connected to each other to support remote power, or transmit video data rates at 18 Gbps.
