Extron Introduces DVI to Analog RGB Video Interface
Anaheim, California (June 7, 2006) - Extron Electronics introduces the
DVI-RGB 150 DVI to Analog RGB Video Interface. The DVI-RGB 150 converts single link DVI-D signals to analog RGB signals for convenient integration of digital video sources into conventional analog AV systems. It is compatible with high resolution computer-video signals up to UXGA (1600x1200) and HDTV up to 1080p. The DVI-RGB 150 is ideal for traditional AV systems designed to support analog video distribution.
"The DVI-RGB 150 ensures the compatibility of DVI-equipped digital video sources with any analog AV system," says Lee Dodson, vice president of marketing for Extron. "It also includes features that offer versatility for system integration." The DVI-RGB 150 features a buffered loop-through for connecting DVI-D video to a local monitor. In the absence of a local monitor, an EDID emulation mode provides the necessary communication between the DVI-RGB 150 and the DVI input source. Variable level and peaking controls for the analog RGB video output compensate for the signal losses that occur over long cable runs. The DVI-RGB 150 is housed in a 1U, half rack width metal enclosure. For pricing and availability, contact an Extron Customer Support Representative at 800.633.9876 (inside USA/Canada only).
