Anaheim, California (September 9, 2005) - Extron Electronics is pleased to introduce a new lineup of HDMI™ (High Definition Multimedia Interface) cables and adapters for today's digital home theater products that utilize uncompressed digital high definition video and multi-channel audio transmission on a single cable. This new family includes the HDMI M-M Series cables, ideal for direct connection between any source with HDMI output and a display device with HDMI input. Also available are the HDMI M-DVID M Series HDMI to DVI extension cables, as well as three new HDMI to DVI-D adapters, ideal for systems that include sources and displays that mix DVI and HDMI connectors. All cables and adapters offer gold-plated contacts for high performance and a high quality design, and fully comply with the HDMI standard.

The HDMI M-DVID M Series cables are terminated with an HDMI male connector at one end and a DVI-D male connector on the other. Both cables are available in six standard cut lengths from three feet to 50 feet. The HDMI to DVI-D adapters are available in three different configurations and feature a durable molded shell.
