Extron Wins Three Awards at InfoComm
Anaheim, California (June 22, 2006) - Extron Electronics is pleased to announce that it won awards at the third annual InfoComm AV Communications Excellence Awards banquet on June 6, 2006 in Orlando, Florida. The MGP 464 was voted the Most Innovative Video Processing or Distribution Product by the readers of Systems Contractor News Magazine, while the YCS SW2 was selected as the Most Innovative Commercial Installation Accessory. The MMX 32 VGA MTP earned recognition as the Best General AV Product from the readers of Rental & Staging magazine.
The MGP 464 is a Four Window Multi-Graphic Processor for picture-in-picture display of high resolution computer-video graphics and HDTV or NTSC/PAL video sources. The MGP 464 accepts up to 19 input sources and features a true 19x4 input matrix switcher that allows any source to be displayed in any or all of the four available on-screen windows. Presentations can be fully customized, and also enhanced by incorporating an image or live video as a background. The YCS SW2 is a two input, dual output transcoding switcher which decodes composite video signals into Y/C (S-video), as well as encodes S-video signals and outputs a composite video image. This device is ideal for applications requiring composite video and S-video switching. Key features are time base stabilization, autoswitching, and contact closure remote control. The MMX 32 VGA MTP is a compact three input, two output VGA and stereo audio matrix switcher that features a built-in twisted pair transmitter for RGBHV and summed mono (L+R) audio signals.
