Extron Announces Promotions in Marketing

Anaheim, California (June 21, 2004) - Extron Electronics is pleased to announce the promotion of two senior members of its Marketing department. Joe da Silva has been named director of product marketing and Mike Andrews is now director of marketing communications.

Joe da Silva, a longtime veteran at Extron, will oversee the development of the product marketing team with emphasis on the company's market-driven product management programs. "With extensive market experience and product knowledge, Joe will lead a strong, dedicated team to help Extron position products and bring products to market more efficiently. " Mike Andrews, most recently Extron's director of marketing, now oversees the Marketing department's communications activities including trade shows, marketing collateral, Extron's Web site, and electronic communications. "Mike has proven to be a very capable leader, and in his new role, he will be able to focus more on the delivery of Extron information to our customers," commented Lee Dodson, vice president of marketing for Extron.
