Designed to Blend In

Extron design engineers have taken the pendant speaker concept in a new direction. SoundField pendant speakers, with their clean lines and concealed wiring connections, blend into the background alongside contemporary pendant lighting fixtures. This addresses the common requirement that installed speakers be invisible or achitecturally complementary, without requiring modifications to existing structure. Extron's patent pending pendant speaker design is suitable for a wide variety of applications, including convention and exhibit spaces to atriums, restaurants, warehouse, commercial and retail space.

Integrator-Friendly

Extron SoundField pendant speakers come with everything needed for a finished installation, including the Extron exclusive PendantConnect speaker cable. This hybrid design incorporates the speaker wires and steel support cables into a single outer jacket, for a clean installation with only a single visible cable.

Voicing Consistency

To ensure smooth sonic transitions in mixed ceiling applications where the listener moves between drop ceiling and open ceiling areas, the SoundField pendant speakers are voiced consistently with corresponding SoundField ceiling speakers. This reduces guesswork and simplifies speaker selection when designing AV systems for mixed ceiling applications.

The SF 3PT and SF 26PT are voiced consistently with the SF 3CT LP and SF 26CT Series respectively. The SF 28PT is voiced consistently with the SF 228T Plus.
