Streamlined Connectivity with Display Devices in XTP Systems
Pro AV display devices that offer direct connection within XTP Systems
Industry-leading display manufacturers have partnered with Extron to offer direct display connection and quick setup within XTP Systems®. Extron has worked closely with these manufacturers to deliver XTP® functionality within their commercial displays. Certified display devices can enable their twisted pair inputs to be recognized as an XTP receiver, ensuring interoperability with XTP Systems. This allows video, audio, RS‑232 control, and Ethernet signals to be transmitted directly to the display from an XTP II CrossPoint or XTP CrossPoint matrix switcher as well as directly from one of the many XTP twisted pair transmitters. XTP Inside certified display devices are ideal for professional installations, providing simplified designs, easy integration, and transparent operation in a wide variety of environments.

Extron XTP Systems
Extron XTP Systems provide a completely integrated switching and distribution solution for multiple digital and analog formats. They support local connectivity as well as extended transmission capability for sending video with resolutions up to 4K, audio, RS‑232/IR, and Ethernet up to 330 feet (100 meters) over shielded CATx cable, and up to 10 km (6.21 miles) over fiber optic cable. Each system is HDCP compliant, and delivers ultra-fast, highly reliable digital switching with Extron's SpeedSwitch® Technology.
At the heart of a system is an XTP II CrossPoint or XTP CrossPoint matrix switcher. The modular matrix switchers are expandable from 4x4 to 64x64, depending on frame size, and can be populated with a wide variety of XTP CP I/O matrix boards. Input and output boards provide direct HDMI, 3G‑SDI, DVI, VGA, video, and audio connections to local sources and displays or signal extension to remote endpoints when using XTP transmitters and receivers. The matrix switcher can also provide power to a remote XTP device over CATx cabling, depending on transmitter model.
Integrators worldwide are excited about how easy it is to install and set up XTP Systems. See what they are saying.
