Overview

The Cable Cubby^® 100 is a compact, round furniture-mountable cable access enclosure for AV connectivity and AC or USB power. Ideal for single-user applications, it has connectivity openings for two single-space MAAP™ Mini AV Connectivity Modules, one Retractor module, or three AV cables. The Cable Cubby 100 enclosure without power holds an additional two MAAP modules. The Cable Cubby 100 Switch Kit includes an integrated push-button switch for Show Me^®, push to talk, or mute mic applications. Cable Cubby 100 enclosures are designed to allow service of cables and MAAP modules from the top after installation. Its round shape makes installation fast and simple using a 4" (102 mm) hole saw. A cover plate conceals mounting screws, giving a refined appearance. The Cable Cubby 100 is available in black.

Cable Cubby 100 with USB Power

Provide a modular, configurable, and round furniture-mountable enclosure that shall support a combination of USB power mini connectivity plates and AV cables
1. Device shall support one USB power mini connectivity plate plus
  1. Up to three AV cables, or
  2. Up to two mini AV connectivity plates, or
2. If USB power is not required, the device shall then support
  1. Up to six AV cables, or
  2. Up to four mini AV connectivity plates
3. The device shall include modules and mounting frames to support USB power, AV cables and/or mini AV connectivity plates.
  1. The modules shall be positionable within the enclosure, with no fewer than eight installer-determined height positions
  2. The modules shall be positionable within the enclosure, mounting to below of an installed USB power module or supplemental connectivity module
  3. USB power modules shall be available
    1. USB power modules shall be UL listed and CE compliant when installed within the enclosure
    2. USB power modules shall include two USB power outlets
    3. USB power modules shall include an attached AC power cord or IEC power inlet with detachable AC power cord, as required by local electrical power codes and conventions
  4. The external power supply shall be designed and manufactured by the same entity providing the enclosure and power module
  5. The cable pass-through plate shall be a single unit
    1. The plate shall be flexible to allow the installation, removal, or replacement of cables
    2. The plate shall utilize a split-ring design that accommodates a range of AV cable diameters without the need for supplemental grommets
    3. The plate shall include plugs to cap cable pass-through openings that are not utilized
    4. The assembled plate, with cables, shall install from the top of the enclosure, after it’s installed within the furniture surface
  6. The AV connectivity frame shall be a single unit
    1. The frame shall support two single-space mini AV connectivity plates, or one double-space mini AV connectivity plate
    2. The assembled frame, with mini AV connectivity plates and attached cables, shall install from the top of the enclosure, after it’s installed within the furniture surface
4. Device shall include an attached and fully integrated, all plastic cover plate and metal housing assembly to conceal mounting hardware
  1. The lid and housing assembly shall be available in a black finish
  2. Cover plate shall fit entirely over the housing and attach with integrated magnets
    1. Device shall include a tool that removes the cover plate safely from the enclosure
5. Device enclosure shall mount entirely within an opening sufficient to accommodate the enclosure body
  1. An opening of an appropriate size shall be made with 4” round saw to accommodate the enclosure; round saw not included
  2. The enclosure shall feature screw holes on the bezel
    1. The screws shall be inserted through the bezel to permanently affix the enclosure body to the tabletop surface
    2. The enclosure body and mounting screws shall be covered with included cover plate
