Provides cable raceway access for surface-mounted wiring applications

Overview

The Extron SMK P SM 26/28 pivot mount kit is an optional accessory for the SM 26 and SM 28 SpeedMount^® surface mount speakers. It enables full 360° speaker rotation to provide maximum flexibility in aiming the speakers to suit the installation. The SMK P SM 26/28 mount features a fully adjustable pivot for left, right, downward, or upward positioning of speakers mounted on a wall or ceiling. It is designed to speed up installation. During rough-in, electrical contractors can install the SMK P SM 26/28 and terminate the speaker cable to the mount’s integrated wiring contacts. Later, installers can slide the SM 26 or SM 28 speaker onto the mount and secure it into place, while automatically connecting to the wiring contacts. The SMK P SM 26/28 is sold in pairs, and is available in black or white to match the SM 26 and SM 28 speakers.
