The CSVEQ 100 D is a high performance composite video, S-video, and audio line driver designed to compensate for signal attenuation and high frequency loss encountered during long cable runs. It is capable of simultaneously driving composite video and S-video plus audio signals up to 1000' (300 m) on Extron MHR or equivalent high resolution video cables and STP series audio cables. The CSVEQ 100 D mounts in a decorator-style wallplate and is ideal for use in residential and commercial environments where video and audio signals need to be extended over a long distance.

The CSVEQ 100 D features independent variable gain and EQ adjustments for composite and S-video signals. This allows integrators to set gain and EQ levels for the specific cable run requirements of each signal type. The gain control compensates for signal voltage losses due to cable resistance, and allows for brightness adjustment by varying the overall voltage of the signal. EQ compensates for loss of sharpness and high frequency detail due to cable capacitance. Both gain and EQ condition the video signal, offering optimum picture quality regardless of cable length.

The CSVEQ 100 D also features audio signal buffering which converts unbalanced audio signals to balanced line level and simplifies integration of consumer-grade AV products in commercial or professional-grade systems. Balanced audio signals are less susceptible to noise, and due to the inherent +6 dB signal gain, allow for cable runs up to 1000 feet (300 meters).

Selectable stereo or dual mono audio output provides a choice of stereo audio or actively-summed L+R mono audio on both outputs. This simplifies integration in program and distributed audio system designs. The CSVEQ 100 D is available in black and includes a matching decorator-style wallplate.
