MLS 406SA Stereo Audio Amplifier 60-560-03 Retired

This product has been retired.

The Extron MLS 406SA is a simple-to-use, six input, multi-format switcher that provides computer video, S-video, and composite video switching, along with stereo audio input switching. An additional input accepts balanced/unbalanced mono line level audio signals for mixing with any of the four switchable inputs. The switcher features an integrated audio amplifier with 24 watts, 2 x 12 watts rms, for 4 ohm speakers and 16 watts, 2 x 8 watts rms, for 8 ohm speakers to suit the needs of the installation. For enhanced operation, ease of room control, and simplified system integration, the MLS 406SA can be controlled with a TouchLink® Control System or MediaLink® Controller.

The MLS 406SA switcher provide three configurable 15-pin HD inputs to support high resolution RGBHV, S-video, or composite video sources with 15-pin HD local monitor loop-through. Three additional inputs are configurable to accept S-video or composite video signals, and all inputs support stereo audio. A line level mono audio auxiliary/mix input is available for consumer and professional audio sources such as a wireless microphone receiver for mixing with the selected input. The MLS 406SA switcher also features audio input gain and attenuation for each input, plus loudness control and master volume control through the front panel or via RS-232.

The MLS 406SA is ideal for program speakers at the front of the room rather than in 70/100 distributed audio systems. In addition to the integrated amplifier, the switcher includes two preamp balanced or unbalanced audio outputs, one fixed and one variable, which can be configured via RS-232 for mono or stereo output.
