The Extron RGB 203 Rxi is a universal, analog computer-video and audio interface with EDID Minder^®. It allows up to three computer-video inputs with resolutions up to QXGA to be converted for output to projectors and flat panel displays. It also accepts unbalanced computer stereo audio and converts it to balanced, line level stereo or mono audio. Extron enhanced ADSP technology provides all-digital processing of sync signals, eliminating compatibility issues encountered when using analog sync processing with digital display devices. The RGB 203 Rxi is ideal for use in applications that require signal amplification and sync processing to ensure compatibility between different types of displays and computer-video signal sources found in classrooms, auditoriums, and conference rooms.

The RGB 203 Rxi features EDID Minder, which automatically manages EDID communication between devices connected through the RGB 203 Rxi. EDID Minder is an Extron exclusive technology designed to provide constant and continuous EDID - Extended Display Identification Data management with a source device, ensuring that the source powers up properly and reliably outputs content.

In addition, the RGB 203 Rxi interface features three female 15-pin HD inputs, two computer stereo audio inputs, a buffered local monitor output, and ID bit termination. Audio input selection, variable level and peaking controls, and horizontal and vertical centering controls can be accessed via the front panel, or remotely via RS-232 control and contact closure.

The 1U, half rack width metal enclosure can be rack-mounted or furniture-mounted.

DSVP™ - Digital Sync Validation Processing — Polls inputs and outputs to verify data rates. DSVP then transmits the information to the user through the serial or Ethernet ports.

Enhanced ADSP™ — An Extron exclusive technology that provides all-digital processing of sync signals, eliminating compatibility issues encountered when using analog sync processing with digital display devices.

DDSP™ - Digital Display Sync Processing — Allows the sync signal to pass through without altering sync pulse or width. Disables other sync processing features such as horizontal and vertical centering.

Variable level and peaking control — Variable level and peaking control is available to compensate for fuzzy images and streaking associated with cable resistance and system bandwidth losses.

Horizontal and vertical centering control — Allows the input signal to be shifted on the display device for a properly centered image.

LCD display indicates signal frequency and resolution

Active PC audio to balanced audio interfacing — Converts computer-generated, unbalanced audio to balanced line level stereo audio for output on a captive screw connector.

Selectable stereo or summed mono audio output

Simultaneous composite and separate sync output

30 memory presets for automatic signal setup — Memory presets for recall later allow saving size, position, and detail information for multiple incoming sources.
