The Extron RGB 468xi AKM is an architectural interface designed for use with OBO Bettermann – formerly Ackermann - floor boxes. It fits flush within an OBO Bettermann floor box for convenient and easy installation. The RGB 468xi AKM also features an opening to accommodate up to three AAP - Architectural Adapter Plates for signal pass-through connectors or control modules.

With a 15-150 kHz horizontal frequency range and 300 MHz (-3 dB) of RGB video bandwidth, the RGB 468xi AKM features a female 15-pin HD connector for connecting computers to display devices along with Extron's ADSP™ - Advanced Digital Sync Processing technology. ADSP provides digital processing of sync signals, avoiding the tearing and other image distortions encountered when using poor sync processing methods with digital display devices, such as DLP, LCD, plasma, etc.

In addition, the RGB 468xi AKM is VGA-QXGA compatible, and includes the added convenience of a buffered local monitor output. Sync output is DIP switch-selectable for composite, separate horizontal and vertical sync, and sync on green. Audio interfacing is also included, allowing the input of unbalanced, computer-generated signals to be buffered and converted to balanced, line level signals. Output connectors are on five BNC pigtails. The RGB 468xi AKM is available in black.

ADSP™ - Advanced Digital Sync Processing — An exclusive Extron technology that conditions sync signals to provide reliable operation with a variety of signal sources and display types. ADSP reshapes the sync signals, restores proper TTL voltage levels, and maintains the original video to sync timing relationships while allowing centering control.

DDSP™ - Digital Display Sync Processing — Allows the sync signal to pass through without altering sync pulse or width. Disables other sync processing features such as horizontal and vertical centering.

Three-position level/peaking control — Boosts and equalizes video signals to compensate for signal loss and high frequency attenuation that occur in long cable runs.

Horizontal shift control — Shifts the displayed image left or right on the display screen. Also called "horizontal centering".

Active PC audio to balanced audio interfacing — Converts computer-generated, unbalanced audio to balanced line level stereo audio for output on a captive screw connector.

Opening for three AAP - Architectural Adapter Plates, AAPs sold separately — Extron offers a wide selection of active and passive AAPs with audio, video, phone, data, power, and control connectors, that fit together for attractive and completely customizable AV connectivity. AAPs sold separately.

Highly reliable, energy-efficient external universal power supply included, replacement part #70-775-01 — Provides worldwide power compatibility, with high demonstrated reliability and low power consumption for reduced operating costs.

Designed for installation in OBO Bettermann – formerly Ackermann - CRX 4090 and CRX 4120 floor boxes — Fits flush for convenient and easy installation. Floor boxes sold separately.
