Together, Extron and Poly are poised to deliver complete AV and conferencing control across the enterprise. A simple tap on the Poly touchpanel can manage the conferencing and meeting experience as well as send commands that trigger automation events for display power, shades, lighting, and more.

As part of this conferencing, control, and automation ecosystem, Extron also offers a hands-free option using occupancy sensors to turn on displays when participants enter a room and turn them off when the room is empty. Extron Control for Microsoft Teams Rooms

Extron Control for Microsoft Teams Rooms adds Extron Pro Series control capabilities to the full range of conferencing features provided by the Microsoft Teams Rooms application, which runs on Poly video solutions for Microsoft Teams, thus allowing a single device to deliver both collaboration and control solutions for an enhanced meeting room experience. The Extron Control for Microsoft Teams Rooms application shows the secure Extron Control for Web HTML 5 Virtual TouchLink panel (vTLP) page, which can be configured with Extron Global Configurator Plus and Professional (GCP) or programmed with ControlScript. It allows various room functions, including shading, lighting, display, and camera controls.

This system utilizes the Poly GC8 and HP Mini Conferencing PC with Microsoft Teams Rooms, enabling meeting attendees to use the full range of Microsoft^® Teams Rooms System conferencing features. This system provides convenient HDMI connectivity at the table. Cable management and AC power provide easy accessibility. A Poly Studio USB Camera is mounted below the display. AV signals are sent from the Poly GC8 Controller through the HP Mini Conferencing PC and Extron HD CTL 100 Workspace Controller to the display, enabling automatic display control. The TLS 725M provides room scheduling capabilities with on-demand reservations from the touchpanel, computer, or any smartphone or tablet. When coupled with the OCS 100C, room automation is provided by releasing rooms with no-shows.

Medium Room Solution

SPACE REQUIREMENTS

Meeting rooms accommodate 6 to 10 people. They are designed for content sharing and collaboration with minimal setup and configuration. This system supports connections for two HDMI sources. The occupancy sensor works with the HC 404 to automatically power up the display and turn on the lights and shades when the room is occupied. Each source can be easily selected using the Show Me buttons, and minimal user interaction is required to operate the system. Cable management and AC power provide easy accessibility. AV signals are switched to a single flat panel display. The TLS 725M provides room scheduling capabilities with on-demand reservations from the touchpanel, computer, or any smartphone or tablet. When coupled with the OCS 100C, room automation is provided by releasing rooms with no-shows.

Large Room Solution

SPACE REQUIREMENTS

The large conference room accommodates up to 20 people and includes video conferencing capabilities, enabling team members in remote locations to participate in meetings. This system utilizes the Poly GC8 and HP Mini Conferencing PC with Microsoft Teams Rooms, enabling meeting attendees to use the full range of Microsoft^® Teams Rooms System conferencing features. This system supports connection of three HDMI sources and one DisplayPort source at the table. It includes dual displays, touchpanel control, a HP Mini Conferencing PC for soft codec video conferencing as well as cable and AC power management. The room size requires an audio system with full-range, ceiling mounted speakers for sound reinforcement. The TLS 725M provides room scheduling capabilities with on-demand reservations from the touchpanel, computer, or any smartphone or tablet. When coupled with the OCS 100C, room automation is provided by releasing rooms with no-shows.

Meeting Room – Zoom Rooms with Poly Studio X30 and Poly TC8

SPACE REQUIREMENTS

Meeting rooms with video conferencing capability enable internal collaboration with remote team members at different geographical locations. This system utilizes the Poly Studio X30 Video Bar and Poly TC8 touch interface, enabling meeting attendees to use the full range of Zoom Rooms System conferencing features while having access to AV control from the same interface. A Poly Studio X30 is mounted below the display. Control signals are sent from the Poly Studio X30 and Poly TC8 through an Extron IPCP Pro 250 xi Control Processor to automate lighting, shades and display.
