Overview

The Extron AXI 22 AT D is a single-gang decorator-style audio interface for integrating two mic/line sources onto a Dante^®-enabled audio system. It features two XLR audio inputs and switchable 48 volt phantom power for connecting and powering condenser microphones, plus gain controls for each input. The AXI 22 AT D also features two line outputs on the back for routing any two Dante channels from the network to the analog input of a destination device, or connecting into an optional secondary wallplate with two XLR outputs. The AXI 22 AT D interfaces with any Dante-equipped audio processor, such as an Extron DMP 128 Plus AT, over a standard local area network, and can be powered through PoE. This allows a single network cable connection for bidirectional audio and power from a central equipment rack.

AXI 22 AT D

Provide a single-gang decorator-style Dante™ audio interface that shall support two mono analog inputs capable of microphone or line level signals, placed directly onto a Dante audio network, and two mono analog line level outputs for audio received from the Dante network.
1. Two input, two output, single-gang decorator-style audio expansion interface with Dante audio networking, and 24-bit audio converters
  1. Input Requirements
    1. Shall support two mono, microphone or line level, balanced or unbalanced signals on two female XLR connectors
    2. Shall provide selectable +48 volt phantom power for condenser microphones on each mic/line input
    3. Shall provide analog to digital conversion at selectable sampling rates with 24-bit resolution via Dante Controller
      1. Shall support 44.1, 48, 88.2, and 96 kHz sampling rates
  2. Output Requirements
    1. Shall support two mono line level, balanced or unbalanced signals on one 6-pole, 3.5 mm captive screw connector
      1. Outputs will be routed from Dante audio network
    2. Shall provide digital to analog conversion at selectable sampling rates with 24-bit resolution via Dante Controller
      1. Shall support 44.1, 48, 88.2, and 96 kHz sampling rates
  3. Dante Audio Networking Requirements
    1. Shall support incoming and outgoing channels over a local area network using standard Internet protocols
      1. Up to two outgoing Dante channels may be routed to a Dante-equipped digital signal processor
      2. Up to two incoming Dante channels from a Dante-equipped digital signal processor may be tied to the audio interface’s output section
    2. Shall support Dante Controller software for digital audio network configuration
    3. Shall support Dante Domain Manager network management software for network security and logical segmenting.
    4. Shall support the AES67 standard for interoperability with other devices that also support AES67
    5. Shall provide an RJ-45 connector to support Dante audio network connection
    6. Shall provide uncompressed digital audio at selectable sampling rates with 24-bit resolution via Dante Controller
