Overview

The Extron MPS 601 is a compact six input, one output media presentation switcher for routing digital and analog sources to a single display. It offers four HDCP-compliant HDMI inputs and two RGB video inputs with analog stereo audio. RGB video and analog audio are digitized and switched through the HDMI output. RGB inputs support video resolutions up to 2K. The HDMI inputs and output support resolutions up to 4096x2160 at 30 Hz with 4:4:4 chroma sampling, and data rates up to 10.2 Gbps. The switcher features EDID Minder^®, which maintains continuous EDID communication with connected devices and ensures that the sources power up properly and maintain correct video output. The MPS 601 is ideal for applications that require the routing of digital and analog sources to a single display.
